Top Ten places to see again

First was Hawaii, then Paris, Rome, London, (Wales!!) Edinburgh, and points between, Bali, Singapore, Malacca, Venice, Florence, Positano, Figline Valdarno (Rome, London and Paris and Versailles twice) and I would do them again, especially Rome. I might have been a gladiator, or emperor in a prior life.

  • Jasperism

    Jasperism

    My favorite quote?

Old ain’t dead. One’s age has nothing to do with quality of life and the new friends you meet. Attitude is the key. The old adage “you are as old as you feel” is true.

Don’t count the numbers of the years. Count the moments of joy and achievement. I started my first novel at 79. Still editing, but I have time. Not dead yet!

  • A tip

    A tip

If you had to give one life-changing tip, what would it be?

Don’t worry about what might be. It most likely will not happen. Worry doesn’t change anything. You just wasted moments that could have been happy. There are plenty of events in each life that can cause unhappiness. Don’t add more.

    Sailing

What’s a song lyric that has stuck with you forever?

The song “Sailing” by Christopher Cross will forever echo in my mind. The tune uncomplicated, the words are simple. The sentiment is soothing. Peace, fantasy, unbound possibilities are in the simple refrain. ‘Just the wind and a dream to carry me’ on the adventure of life. Smooth sailing, safe travels and boundless adventure to ‘where I believe it could be.’
