What app eats up most of your screen time — and do you even feel bad about it?

Instagram, text messages and email occupy a good deal of my attention early in the morning. Later, whatever I have downloaded on Kindle calls, and I am forced to answer.

Later in the day, I write, using AutoCrit. They also offer fabulous classes and fun challenges.

At this stage in my life, I am doing what I want. No guilt about the dust on the floor or the wash waiting to be done. Well, maybe a little bit.

I like YouTube also. After dinner (yes, I still cook and clean the kitchen) my sweetheart and I watch TV (another app).

What’s a piece of technology you’re convinced will exist in 20 years?

I don’t think I will be here to confirm or deny my prediction, but to answer the question, I believe everything that exists technologically speaking will be improved. Look at the TV or phones 20 years ago vs. now. Cars, bikes, even skates have evolved. I am wishing for a Jetson sort of society with flying cars and personal robots to vacuum the floors and dust the furniture for sure!

If I am still on this plane, I hope there still is white cake with lemon filling and creamy icing along with 100 candles! Made by with love, of course.

What’s one habit that has improved your life the most?

Writing consistently has improved my life and expanded my experiences. I am more open and yet more focused. Writing has become my passion and also a lifesaver. Worlds open with the stroke of a pen, a press on the keyboard. Like a drug, I crave the sensation of breathing life into the characters that spring from my imagination.
